Emerson CF14 Ceiling Fan
|
|
Circa 1902 |
|
Emerson produced
the CF-14 for only one year and
there are not many of these that
turn up. The name CF-14 is
aptly named for the number of
coils (14) in the motor. They
also offered the larger CF-28 at
this time and they are equally
as rare. What makes the CF-14
interesting, especially compared
to the CF-20 they later offered,
is the motor is much smaller in
size. I also think 2-blade
ceiling fans look really great,
especially as they operate. By
the way, the motor tag is oddly
made of aluminum instead of
brass. I almost forgot to
mention the blades and their
finish is original. |
