W.E. Coleman Manufacturing Co. 'The Coleman Deflector' Circa 1903 The Coleman deflector was an after-market device which could be used on nearly any stationary fan as a means to move air to entire room much like the new oscillating fans. They were available from 1903-07. In 1904, the Diehl Mfg. Co. secured the rights to manufacture and distribute the deflector. This is the only known survivor. Click here to view a video.
