CGE (Italy) 12" Fan
Circa 1915
Made by the General Electric Co. of Italy, known as Compagnia Generale Di Elettricita, in about 1915. It is apparent there were some connections with AEG as well as GE of the US. Much of the fan is designed nearly identical to the AEG fan and the badge on the cage is an altered version of the famous GE we all know. At first glance it looks identical but if you look closer you will notice the letters GE are inside a larger letter ‘C’. A well made fan and as is very common in Europe, the blade and cage are nickel plated.
